Barrel Break In Procedure

EM Precision uses high quality, hand lapped, match grade stainless steel barrels in all our builds. These barrels require very little "break in" but rather a short seasoning and a small chamber break in. Below is our recommendation to get the most out of your new EM Precision Rifle.

Step 1: Clean and inspect your new rifle upon receipt.
Step 2: Fire 1 round and patch clean
Step 3: Repeat for 5 rounds
Step 4: Fire 5 rounds and patch clean
Step 5: Repeat 3 times
Step 6: All done

There are lots of good solvents available. We prefer Boretech Eliminator, Butch's Boreshine, Sweets and Wipeout.
Custom actions have very tight tolerances. Use a light oil and wipe off excess from the bolt. Do not use viscous greases on the bolt body. Apply a small amount of grease on the backs of the lugs.

Happy Shooting!!
